Milan, June 15, 2022 – Comdata, a leading innovative global service provider in Customer Management BPO, announces the completion of the acquisition of the insurance Business Process Outsourcing services of Kauri Financial Services, a leading Italian BPO company owned by Kauri Holding Group.
Under the agreement terms, Kauri Financial Services’ business will be transferred to Insurecom, a newco set up by Comdata and fully controlled by the company.
With this deal Comdata gains over 400 employees, 4 operating offices (Milan, Lecce, Verona and Turin), and a customer base consisting of about 10 major Companies for the Italian market – including UnipolSai, Cattolica and Zurich – with average annual revenues amounting to 14 million euros.
By acquiring this business branch, Comdata strengthens its positioning in the financial services sector, by integrating specialized skills in the insurance market relating to front-end and back-office operations in mobile liability segment (including 24-hour operational center service to handle claims), health insurance – from contract underwriting to claims management – and life insurance, comprising the management of bank branches marked life insurance policies (bancassurance).
