Comdata Group: Massimo Canturi will be appointed Chairman of the Group. Alessandro Zunino will join the Board of Directors as new Ceo
Milan, May 27th, 2019 – The Shareholders’ Meeting of Comdata Group, controlled by global alternative asset manager The Carlyle Group, will meet on June 3rd and will appoint the new Board of Directors for the three-year period 2019/2021.
The Shareholders’ Meeting will appoint Mr. Massimo Canturi, currently Group Ceo, Chairman of Comdata Group and Chairman of its Board of Directors. On the same occasion, Alessandro Zunino will be appointed new Group Ceo of Comdata.
With the new Board of Directors, Comdata Group - the leading innovative global solution provider in Customer Operations – consolidates and reinforces its structure. The Group has, reached a dimension that allows to take a step further in its growth strategy, by pursuing new opportunities both organically and through new acquisitions.
Due to an outstanding expertise gained in leading the Group over the past 10 years, Massimo Canturi will work closely with the new Ceo, coordinating the activities of the Board and overseeing the governance of the Group, its commercial expansion strategies and M&A opportunities, as well as the implementation of the Business Plan.
Alessandro Zunino will guide Comdata in consolidating its leadership position in the markets and towards a further increase of the Group’s global business.The new Ceo, 52 years old, graduated in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, and earned an MBA from INSEAD. He holds a solid know-how in strategic and managerial consulting, having worked in Roland Berger and McKinsey&Co in Spain, Germany and Italy. In 2002, he joined Edison and since 2007 he has been Ceo of Edison Energia and Executive Vice President of Edison's Gas and Power Market Division, contributing in making Edison one of the main players in the Italian energy market.
